We
offer two types of extended warranty protection plans - our Silver and
Gold protection plans which both offer an additional year of protection
and are very straightforward without the use of "gotcha" sales
tactics.
The Silver Plan:
Extends the manufacturer's warranty for an additional year. If the unit
ceases to function within 1 year after the manufacturer's warranty period,
the unit will be repaired by the manufacturer. The cost of parts and
labor are covered in this warranty.
The Gold Plan:
Extends the manufacturers warranty for an additional year. If the unit
ceases to function within 1 year after the manufacturers warranty period,
we will replace it. For a malfunctioning unit to be considered for replacement,
it must be received in good shape, we will not be able to replace any
unit that is missing parts/components, has physically broken parts/components
from misuse, or is cosmetically blemished to the point that is can not
be refurbished for resale as a used unit. If a unit is received as described
above, the unit will be repaired rather than replaced.
What voids a warranty:
This warranty shall be void if the unit is misused, abused, modified
(the seal and or tamper proof screws on the case must be in tact), or
resold.
What is not covered in our extended warranty:
Damage from power surges, hot plugging, misuse/abuse, or modifications.
Cables/power adapters, driver CD's, bundled softwares, and shipping
and handling costs are not covered.
